Escanaba Public Safety Director Ken Vanderlinden presents a $385.89 donation to Haili Young, who is a Crime Victim's Advocate from Tri-County Safe Harbor. The donation is to sponsor the "Light in the Window" Campaign set to kick-off for the month of October.  


Escanaba Public Safety Director Ken Vanderlinden presents a $500.00 donation to Amy Johnson, who is representing the Delta County Junior Golf Association. The donation is to sponsor a scholarship for an Association participant moving on to post-secondary education. 


Escanaba Public Safety Director Ken Vanderlinden presents a $2,000.00 donation to Paula Waeghe (left) and Marcia Short (right), who are representing the U.P. Honor Flight. The donation is to sponsor attendance for four Veterans on an upcoming Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.

Escanaba Public Safety D/Lt. Darin Hunter passes a $600.00 check to Mr. Jay Owens, representing the Escanaba Lions Club. The check represents total proceeds from a hole event at Escanaba Public Safety's Charitable Golf Tournament on September 6th, that was sponsored, in-part, by the Escanaba Lions. The money will be used locally by the Lions Club to assist qualified individuals seeking monetary assistance with obtaining eyeglasses to improve their quality of life. 


Escanaba Public Safety Lt. Robert LaMarche passes a $500.00 check to Mr. Mike Mineau, President of the Escanaba Eagles Club. The check is given in support of their "Roaring Gatsby Party" which is a 1920's themed fundraiser for the Eagles Club.

Since being revived in 2012, the Escanaba Public Safety Golf Committee has granted approximately $59,415.59 in golf tournament proceeds to various local community organizations and by hosting social awareness programs and presentations.

Since starting an annual food drive in 2014, Escanaba Public Safety has been able to raise 3,000 lbs. of non-perishable food items for the three food pantries located in Delta County and the Community Foundation for Delta County "Feed the Kids" backpack program.
